“This week sees a return of our old friends from Richmond in place of the advertised Solihull. This change of teams seems like we are trying to keep you, the fans, guessing.

“Let’s explain how it happens. We have tried to arrange as many games as possible to the end of May. Many players from many teams have gone home or have just stopped playing for the summer recess. Cancellation by these players have affected the game schedules at Lee Valley. Last week Deeside crashed on the motorway, hence our Lions -v- Leopards match. This week we hope to provide you with another cracking game.

“Next season has not yet been sealed but Manager Mike Smith has applied for 1st Division status, so here’s hoping!!!

“The supporters’ end-of-season get together is to be held at Picketts Lock on Sunday 3rd June between 7pm and 10.30pm. Admission is just £1.50 per ticket, cash. Bar available. Tickets will be on sale from Sunday 27th all that week. This will host the end-of-season awards so don’t miss it. We have a limit of 200 tickets so therefore it’s first come, first served.

“Supporters’ entry forms and benefits will be available from 27th May also.”
