Additional Comments: This was the Lions’ last home league game of the 1985/86 season. The programme remarked that the previous week’s away match (at Altrincham) had seen the team supported by an entire double-decker coach full of Lions fans and that two coaches of fans would be making the trip up to Telford the next day! The programme also mentioned that, subject to demand, there would be a Lions “annual handbook” (yearbook) produced during the close season. I’m not sure if it ever was printed, I’ve certainly never seen or heard about it since. |
