Additional Comments: The hardnuts clashed at 35:17, in the form of ex-Lion Tari Suwari and Tony Goldstone, who both received 2+2 for Roughing. Eddie Joseph got himself an unlucky penalty at 53:19 by being charged with Accidental High Sticks! Finally, Jeff Job let rip at 59:52, securing himself 2-mins for Hooking, 2-mins for Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 10-mins Misconduct and a Game penalty!!! Gary Bayliss took exception to this and also got himself a Gross Misconduct on the final whistle, at 60:00. The Lions had called a Time-Out at 59:09, but this didn’t result in us scoring any extra goals. Both teams had scored one Power Play goal each during the match. Referee was Kellond, Linesmen were Ward and Plaistow. |
