Additional Comments: Jaro Lycka scored an amazing unassisted goal at 04:12 while Ben Acquah scored his first ever goal for the club – an unassisted goal at 48:11. It was Finnish import Tommy Kiiski’s first game for the Lions and he gave a promising start, scoring 3+3. Lions had also acquired the services of ex-Cleveland Bomber, Mark Smith (soon to become the subject of a Clock End chant!). Lee Valley import Bill Kirk was not present as he was visiting relatives in Scotland. Referee was Moore, Linesmen were Mitchell and Kenny. |
