Additional Comments: This was Lee Valley’s first ever visit to Streatham’s High Road rink for a Heineken League match and it was good to record a win. Although the Redskins lost they nonetheless managed to score three Power Play goals in a row, at 12:48, 20:40 and 38:05. Steve James and Nicki Iandoli both received 2-mins for Roughing at 03:40, then Kevin Griffin and Jim Johnston received the same penalties at 21:07. This wasn’t to be fiery Johnston’s last penalty of the game, however, because he went on to receive a 10-mins Misconduct penalty at 50:27! Both teams called a Time-Out during this match, Streatham at 53:07 and Lee Valley at 58:55. Referee was Taylor, Linesmen were Chilton and Moore. |
