Additional Comments: The Lions scored two unassisted goals during this game. At 37:45 Darrin Zinger dribbled his goal through the legs of Metros goaltender John Dunford, then less than a minute later, at 38:28, Mike Fafard scored a lucky goal thanks to Dunford’s error in thinking he’d stopped the puck at his feet! Lee Valley called a Time-Out at 57:15 after having scored their Short-Handed 10th goal at 55:45, but sadly this didn’t produce any extra goals (for either team) and the scoreline remained at 10-13. Lions’ Man of the Match was Paul Clark, who thoroughly deserved it. Referee was Moore, Linesmen were Mertl and Chilton. |
