Additional Comments: Kel Land scored 4+3 to justifiably earn his MOTM award. Lions had to start the match with back-up netminder Liem Le Huyen in goal as Chris Newton hadn’t arrived at the Link Centre. Liem only got a 10-minute stint before Chris took over, but three goals had already been scored by the Wildcats by this point. Dave Sweeney scored his first goal of the season at 28:29, from a pass by Dean Turgeon. Dean received a game misconduct, plus a 2+2 at 38:47 after he questioned a refereeing decision, leaving the Lions one import down for the remainder of the match. |
