Additional Comments: A superb win over Swindon, very closely contested. Swindon actually called a Time-Out very early in the game, at only 15:56. Their goal at 35:41 was via a Penalty Shot, shot past Simon Wren. Lions were 11-9 up by 51:46 and at 59:32 Swindon decided to pull their netminder. This worked in their favour as they scored at 59:47 but this trick couldn’t get them that vital last goal or two, meaning Lions fans could walk out of the Den having something to smile about! Referee was Moore, Linesmen were Ashraff and Dadswell. |
