Ex-Lee Valley junior Echeverri returns to Lions colours

The Lions can today announce another former Lee Valley Junior has signed up for the 2021-22 season, as forward Sebastian Echeverri returns to Lions colours.

Sebastian played for the Lions at U15 and U18 level, before moving across to Chelmsford U18s in 2018.

Following three games for Chelmsford, he then spent the last two seasons with Romford U18s, scoring six goals and four assists for ten points in 18 games.

Now he joins up with the Lions for his first season of senior hockey.

Lions welcome back Joe Miller

Let’s kick off the weekend with a re-signing – we’re delighted to welcome forward Joe Miller back to the club!

Joe captained Lee Valley Juniors at both U15 and U18 level, before graduating to the senior Lions side during the 2017-18 season.

Joe has played a total of 47 combined league and cup games for the Lions over three seasons, scoring three goals and seven assists for a total of ten points.

Now the 20-year-old forward is back for another campaign with the Lions.

Lions welcome blueliner Buchlovsky

The Lee Valley Lions can today announce our first new defenceman for the 2021-22 season, as Ivo Buchlovsky signs up.

Czech-born and British-trained blueliner Buchlovsky spent his junior career with Basingstoke, playing at U16 and U19 level for the Hampshire side.

He then played 3 seasons of BUIHA university hockey with the Birmingham Lions and Southampton Spitfires.

After some time away from the sport, Ivo returns to hockey this season with the Lions.

Edwards makes NIHL bow with Lions

The Lee Valley Lions are pleased to welcome forward Kody Edwards to the club for the 2021-22 season.

This will be Kody’s first season in NIHL league action, but the Chelmsford-born forward played recreational hockey for the Chelmsford MisChiefs before joining the Lions.

Lions confirm Wells and Healey for new season

The Lee Valley Lions can confirm their first two signings for the upcoming 2021-22 season, as Tyrone Wells and Naomi Healey both re-sign with the club.

Forward Wells made his debut for the Lions in the 2019-20 season, scoring two goals and one assist in 23 combined league and cup games.

Goaltender Healey also made her debut for the club in 2019-20, featuring in nine combined league and cup games in the Lions net.
