Deryk recently attended a meeting with the ENIHL and has confirmed that the Lions will be entering a team for the 2006/07 season. Romford and Swindon are entering new teams into the South division, bringing the total to 13..
The Romford team will be called Romford Spitfires and will mainly consist of local lads, including those who’ve come up from the Under 19s.
There has been lots of interest in the Lions from prospective players, including those from Sweden, Finland, Italy and Latvia. Trials are still scheduled to commence on 11th July.
