Todd Bidner, Doug McEwen and Tim Peacock all scored three goals for the Pirates, plus a high number of assists. The report of this match in the LVL programme indicates that tempers flared in the final period, with five lots of 2-mins penalties for Unnecessary Roughness. There was also a penalty against Kenny McDonald for “charging the netminder” (Jamie Elliott) and both teams got 2-mins penalties for hitting the puck after the whistle had blown!
