Additional Comments: Tigers’ Tim Salmon were awarded an unusual penalty at 33:17 – Illegal Use of Equipment. If my memory serves me correctly the officials were concerned about the degree of curve on Tim’s stick. Needless to say he played the rest of the game with a different stick. The Lee Valley programme for this game stated that Lions had NEVER scored a short-handed goal against Telford Tigers. That all changed when at 16:53 Jarmo Jamalainen shot a short-handed goal past John Wolfe! Referee was Jenkins, Linesmen were Bishopp and Bain. |
