Additional Comments: For a few brief minutes the Lions were actually in the lead but the second period really saw the Jets come back to life, ensuring we’d be annihilated! Their 6th goal was scored by Joe Stefan and was Short-Handed. Lions changed netminder at 49:02, swapping from Jim Graves to Colin Trew. Lions also managed the rare feat of receiving absolutely no penalties. Only two Jets players entered the penalty box and one of those was simply due to their having had too many men on the ice! Brian Biddulph and Gary Stefan were the players to have received penalties and it was Gary Stefan that served the Bench Minor. Referee was Meier, Linesmen were Ford and Crouch. |
