Additional Comments: Trafford were in the unenviable position of having played 11, lost 11, before they made it a 12th loss in a row with this night’s game. With Blackburn Blackhawks the new team in town their reserves of talent had defected to the local rivals. Still, we knew how it felt to lose so many games in a row because we’d been in exactly the same position at roughly the same time the previous season! In fact we would have won 12-1 if a goal hadn’t been disallowed at 27:54 (the puck having apparently been kicked into the goal). Colin Trew was given some time between the pipes when he was swapped with Jim “Wanderer” Graves at 47:25. Referee was Moore, Linesmen were Feehan and Dadswell. |
