Additional Comments: This was a friendly match against AC Camelen, from Stockholm in Sweden. I presume the team must have been short of a goalie because Lions’ Scott Bonner played for the first half of the match in goal for them, while John Matassa played in the Lions’ goal. They then swapped over! The Swedes also had a loan of Octavion Sersei, a Romanian living in Peckham who made an occasional appearance with the Lions. Robin Andrew played only the first two periods only. Both teams scored three unassisted goals, the Lions’ ones coming courtesy of Adam Anderson, Rob McCaig and Fred Perlini. Referee was Stott but neither Linesman wore their names on their shirts. |
