Additional Comments: We got totally annihilated in this game, maybe not helped by the “good timest” experienced by several of the players the night before! Although we were without Fred Perlini for this match it was unfortunate that only Darcy could manage to get on the score sheet (and I’m not sure he got to bed at all!). Blackburn even had a goal disallowed at 39:43, due to the goal being off its moorings. In addition to Steve Moria’s high score, Ari Pekka-Mikkola shot 1+4 and Mark Stokes 5+1. Referee was Harber, Linesmen were Gibson and Highway. |
