Additional Comments: A very satisfying win for the Lions, with excellent scoring not only by the imports (Craig De Blois scoring just one point less than Al and Andrew with 5+3) but also by MOTM Robin Andrew. Robin scored 1+2 which is pretty good for an old-timer! Lions managed to score an impressive 3 Short-Handed goals. These were actually the last 3 goals of the match and were scored within the space of just over a minute and a half! Paisley changed their netminder at 40:00 but by this time Lee Valley were already 5 goals ahead and the game was in the bag by the time Paisley called a Time-Out at 57:56. The Referee for the match began as Dadswell, with Feehan and Meyers as Linesmen. However, at 10:59 Meyers took over as Referee and Dadswell spent the rest of the match as a Linesman. |
