Contrary to Popular Belief, Williams is Green and Blue
Forward Ben Williams switches allegiances to become a Lion for the 24/25 season.
Welcome to our new #27!
Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Ben came for a skate during the summer and I was very impressed with his poise and calmness on and off the puck.
Ben adds more depth to our team for the season and I am confident he will make a difference to how we compete each week.”
Ganas Mic’d Up
Over the weekend a small group of players, old and new, played a game to celebrate Brian Winstanley’s last time putting on the Lions uniform.
We thought it was the perfect time to test out and show off our new mic’d up content.
You can expect to see a lot more like this, as well as a load of other things in the 24/25 season, we can’t wait!

Racine signs
Vincent Racine signs on for the 24/25 season after a year out, the forward previously having iced for Cardiff Fire.
Please welcome our new #98 to the green and blue!
Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Vincent is a great character to have on the team.
He is enthusiastic and his positivity is infectious.
He is willing to throw himself into any role on the team as his ability means he can make an impact at both ends of the ice.”
Freeman back for more
We’re delighted to welcome back blueliner Josh Freeman, with our #3 signing up for his 2nd season as a Lion.
Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Josh is a great character to have in the room and grew into his role on the team last year.
He has great potential to push on again this season and be a key part of our defensive core.
He is effective at both ends of the ice and I expect his role to grow again this year.”
Dylan stays on at the Den
A big welcome back to our #20 Dylan Hollinshead who returns for his 2nd season in the green and blue.
The enthusiastic youngster joined the Lions last summer, playing as both a defenceman and a forward in his first season with us.
Coach Jonesy’s comments: “Dylan is fantastic to coach.
He is eager to learn and that showed in his improvement last season.
Dylan is one of the first to arrive to training and games and embraces whatever role he is given to help the team.
I am looking forward to overseeing his development this season and I am sure he will continue to take great steps forward and help the team.”
